UPDATE on 31-Day Devotional, "Who is this Jesus"? By Karen Francis

This is a 31 Day Devotional which will allow the reader an opportunity to meditate on what they are feeling and then allow them the opportunity to put their feelings down on paper. I feel this devotional is unique in the fact that it allows the reader the time to really think about who Jesus is and why He is, as opposed to being told the story of Jesus Christ. This devotional with allow the reader to process in their own time who Jesus is. The reader does not have to be a theologian or mature in their spiritual walk to begin using this devotional, because it is in a very simple, clear format. This Devotional is not about religion, it’s all about relationship and intimacy. My prayer is that through this devotional that people will develop their own relationship and daily devotion with the Father through His Son Jesus Christ.

Bio:Karen H. Francis born Karen Denise Harvell in Petersburg, Virginia and grew up in the Bronx, New York from the age of 2 years, then later relocated at 17 to Virginia. Growing up in the Bronx and in a family that did not serve the Lord always made Karen reflects inward where she began writing as a young child. Karen would write fictional stories but put a little bit of herself in each character. Since that time, Karen has written on and off for years. When she gave her life to Christ at the age of 16, Karen’s writing became more God focused and she began journaling about her Journey with Christ and His purpose for her life.

The birthing of this 31-Day Devotional began 2 years ago when she finished the Oswald Chambers journal in 2005 “On my knees”. Karen felt that Chamber’s journal was a good resource, but still felt that she wanted more thought provoking questions and or commentary in order to process what it is that God was speaking to her through the words of the writer. Therefore, she thought, “why not write the devotional that she’d like to see published”, hence the birth of “Who is this Jesus”. Karen has been writing for various online publishers since 1992 and has several published articles, poems and short stories on www.Commonties.com and www.Associatedcontent.com
